Summer Camps

Our kids' summer camps transformed the sunny days into a realm of imaginative exploration, with themed adventures that ignited laughter and learning. Kids of all ages got to sign up for Multisport Camps with themed days like beach, space, and science themed. Each themed experience offered our young campers a unique window into excitement and discovery.

Tennis and Squash Tournaments

Our courts sizzled with excitement as tennis and squash fans took part in summer tournaments. From lightning-fast serves and strategic volleys on the tennis courts to the swift maneuvers and calculated shots on the squash courts, all level of players gathered for the fun. Beyond the victories, these events showcased the bonds formed between players and the resilience that defines our sporting community.

Molly Dooker Wine Dinner

On July 13th, we hosted the Molly Dooker Wine Dinner -a four-course culinary delight. The evening featured a Beetroot Cured Barramundi starter with The Violinist wine, followed by a Smoked Duckk Carpaccio paired with Maitre D Cabernet Sauvignon. The main course showcased a Lamb Duet accompanied by the Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz 2021. The finale was a sweet treat, Lamingtons, beautifully matched with Two Left Feet Shiraz/Cab/Merlot 2021. This event blended gourmet dishes with exceptional Molly Dooker wines, creating an unforgettable evening of flavors!

Canada Day Celebration

Our Canada Day celebration was one for the books! Our club hosted a family fun day filled with laughs and memories. Guests joined us for a pancake breakfast, bouncy castle fun, and face painting and more! What an amazing way to spend our country’s birthday!

Matt Devine’s Cycling Journey

One of the Royal Glenora Club athlete ambassadors, Matt Devine completed a remarkable 13,000km cycling journey across in partnership with 'You Can Ride 2,' raising awareness and funds for a great cause. Starting in Halifax, Matt’s 100+ day journey ended in Edmonton on August 27th! Congratulations Matt on this amazing accomplishment!

Penguin Club Themed Days

Throughout the summer, the Penguin Club extended a wonderful opportunity to its young Members, inviting them to embark on a journey of exploration, learning, and play within a secure and closely supervised setting. This initiative fostered a sense of adventure and discovery for our them in their exciting themed days! They had fun and interactive visits from Minions, Mario, and Princess Peach ensuring this a summer they won’t forget!

Young Adults Trivia Night

This summer we organized a lively trivia night for our Young Adults' Social Club, and the event was a resounding success. Laughter, excitement, and friendly competition filled the air as our Members participated in a variety of intriguing trivia questions. From pop culture to history, the questions covered a wide range of topics, ensuring everyone had a chance to showcase their knowledge.

Recognizing the promising talents in a multitude of sports, we proudly organized the Junior Achievement Awards. This event was a vibrant celebration of the youth's burgeoning skills in disciplines like skating, tennis, badminton, squash, hockey, and beyond. It served as a platform to honor their dedication and hard work, while also inspiring them to continue their journey towards excellence.

Visit from Kris Soutar

Renowned coach consultant, Kris Soutar from Scotland, visited us from June 8th to 13th, working extensively with our staff and members. With a Level 5 Master Performance Coach background, Kris partnered with our team on various topics and engaged with both junior and adult programs. A successful doubles workshop he conducted was widely attended by our Members. Kris's ongoing collaboration promises to elevate our coaching standards significantly.
