RGC on the International Stage

Angelina Grant, 13 years old, was selected by Skate Canada to represent Canada at her first International Competition in Egna, Italy in the Junior Women U18 event this April 4 to 11.  Angelina began skating at the RGC in the Junior Academy program at age five. She won her first Provincial Championship in the Pre-Juvenile Women U11, when she was nine years old. The following years she won four more consecutive Provincial Championships: Juvenile U12, Pre-Novice U16, Pre-Novice U16, and Novice U17. At the 2022 Challenge Event (National Qualifier) she placed second and at the Skate Canada Novice Nationals U17 she placed eighth.  We are so proud of Angelina and her coach Katherine.  Angelina is carrying on the Royal Glenora tradition of international competition that began with Kurt Browning, Jamie Sale, and David Pelltier to name a few.  Good luck at your first Skate Canada International Assignment.
