How long have you been a Member? 2 years

What expertise do you bring to the Royal Glenora BOD:

I am a Chartered Professional Accountant and I have worked directly with both boards and audit committees in an executive finance capacity.  I have significant governance experience and was responsible for preparing, presenting, and responding to financial inquiries and have served in this capacity for over five years.


What activities do you (and your family) regularly participate in at the Club:

I have been enrolled both Tennis and Squash programs in the past, and also enjoys using the weights and fitness facilities and my partner is an active Member in the Tennis programs and Fitness Centre. My three children enjoy using the Pool, playing Badminton, and accessing Open Skate times.

Occupation: Business Owner

How long have you been a Member? 19 years.

What expertise do you bring to the Royal Glenora BOD:

I have 25 years of business experience, where I developed skills and expertise in

accounting, sales and marketing, and networking. My education (Master of Nursing
degree) provides me with an extensive health and wellness perspective. All of my family members, including me, have participated in numerous sports and programs.

What activities do you (and your family) regularly participate in at the Club:

I participate in tennis, swimming and fitness. My husband, Brian, mainly swims.


Past volunteer Board/Committee Experience:

I served as RGC Skating Chair for 2 years.

How long have you been a Member? 3.5 years.

What expertise do you bring to the Royal Glenora BOD:

Construction litigation experience and governance experience.


What activities do you (and your family) regularly participate in at the Club:

  • Tennis

  • Spin Class

  • Aquatics

  • Pool Patio

I am currently a member of the Ronald McDonald House Board (and associated Governance committee) and YOUCAN Youth Services Board. I am a past member of the Board of Directors of the Kids up Front Foundation.

Occupation: Lawyer

How long have you been a Member? 18 years.

What expertise do you bring to the Royal Glenora BOD:

As a lawyer, my practice includes board governance issues, as well as reading, drafting

and interpreting legislation and bylaws. I am confident that as a Board Member, my

experience in this regard would be helpful, and even potentially reduce costs for outside legal counsel. I am not afraid to ask hard questions, to voice my opinion, and to vote in a responsible way. Most importantly, having been a Member at the RGC for 18 years, I care deeply about maintaining the integrity of the RGC as a private Members’ Club, that our families will be able to enjoy for generations to come.

What activities do you (and your family) regularly participate in at the Club:

Tennis, Badminton, Figure Skating, Squash, and the Fitness Centre.
