Katherine Co-Grant | Skating Director and Skating Coach |

Throughout her 15-year career as a skating coach, Katherine has worked tirelessly to develop numerous single skaters from beginner to national and international competitors, all the way to the Junior Grand Prix Level. She was the coach of Vaughn Chipeur, former Olympic skater, while he was age 9–18, and was herself a National-level competitor. Recently, she has developed skaters that are on the Alberta Junior Development team from 2015-present based on placements from Pre-Juvenile to Pre-Novice skaters Sectional Championship results. In addition to being a competitive skater and level 3 certified skating coach, Katherine has her Bachelor of Science and Commerce.


Lise-Lotte (Lisa) Kinding | Skating Coach

Lise-Lotte has been a coach at the Royal Glenora Club since 1998, but has been coaching skating professionally since 1976. Having accumulated 38 years of coaching experience, Lise-Lotte has coached in Sweden, Denmark (where she was the National Head Coach), Switzerland, and Canada. Throughout her many years of coaching, Lise-Lotte has developed and trained numerous skaters to compete in and win National Championships of Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, and Canada – she even went so far as to coach at National, European, and World Championship skating competitions. Two Canadian Champions coached by Lise-Lotte were competing as representatives of the Royal Glenora Club, namely Eheren Jaleel (novice men) and Mandy Nguyen (ladies’ juvenile). Lise-Lotte is a five-time Swedish National Skating Champion and a three-time Scandinavian Skating Champion, and has competed in multiple European and World Championships. Lise-Lotte holds an NCCP Level III Singles certification.


Vaughn Chipeur | Skating Coach

Vaughn began skating at the age of six and had a 20-year competitive skating career, which finished with a performance at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games. Vaughn is also a two-time silver medalist at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships and a bronze medalist at the 2006 Nebelhorn Trophy international competition. After retiring from his competitive career in 2010, Vaughn pursued skating in a performance setting by skating on cruise ships. Vaughn is a former student of the Royal Glenora Club's Skating Director, Katherine Co-Grant and was a student of the RGC Skating Club, under coach Michael Jiranek, for a number of years. We are thrilled to have Vaughn and his talents join our Club as we work to grow the next generation of skating champions!


Elène Haave-Audet | Skating Coach

Even though Elène has only one year of coaching experience, she has spent over 8 years of her life on the ice as a competitive skater in the Junior Women's category. Primary STARskate trained, Elène has a test record that includes Gold Free Skate, Skating Skills, and Interpretive and Diamond Dances. Elène is currently attending the University of Alberta to study biology. She also is bilingual: fluent both French and English.


Breanne Ferris | Skating Coach

Breanne Ferris brings to the RGC three years of coaching experience. She has completed her Senior Competitive Singles, Gold Skills, Gold Free Skate, and Gold Dances. Breanne is both STARSkate trained and a Skate Canada Technical Specialist. Breanne also has her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
