Arena Programming

The Royal Glenora Club offers programming options for learn-to-skate and hockey, which include Power Skating and Skills, Children and Adult Shinny, and Men’s League.

Pre-CanSkate

This is an introductory program for skaters aged 2.5-5, which is taught in a fun and structured group environment. Skaters will learn educational concepts while learning the very basics of skating at the same time

CanSkate

This learn-to-skate program teaches skaters the fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner. The focus is on fun, participation, and basic skill development. Skaters are taught by Skate Canada professional coaches and supported by trained program assistants in a group lesson format. This program is for all CanSkate stages 1 through 6. In stages 1 through 5, a CSA approved helmet is mandatory for all skaters.

Men’s League

Currently, the Royal Glenora Club Men’s League consists of six teams. League game times vary; however, beginning in January 2017, game times will be Monday and Wednesday 7:15pm and 8:45pm and Fridays at 7:15pm. The goal of the Royal Glenora Club Men’s League is to expand to include two divisions each with eight teams, for a total of 16 teams.
