Job Summary:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Female Maintenance Worker performs the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of buildings, including but not limited to the women’s locker rooms; as well as provide assistance to the Maintenance team with tasks as assigned.

Hours of Work:
Full-time hours - weekends, evenings, on-call. To be considered for this position you must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Maintains good facility relations through prompt and courteous response to facility requests within the guidelines set forth by RGC and its Members.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment as assigned.
  • Performs general maintenance within the building including carpentry, painting and plumbing.
  • Ensures that work performed in facility space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by adequate cleanup.
  • Reviews monthly facility service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.
  • Communicates with the Director of Facility Operations to establish facility service request work priorities.
  • Ensures the availability of an adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Assists Maintenance Team in other work as assigned.
  • Learns all central facility machinery and equipment, and building operation functions (HVAC, plumbing and electrical).
  • Performs general handyman tasks to maintain buildings.
  • Performs basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year experience in drywall, painting, and plumbing maintenance of buildings.
  • A mechanical aptitude along with the ability to work with all kinds of tools.
  • Pool Operator I and/or Maintenance Certification is an asset
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors.
  • A security clearance is a requirement for all positions within Royal Glenora Club.
