Banquet Server | part-time

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Banquet Supervisor, the Server will work in the Banquet area, but will be flexible to assist in other areas if required.

Hours of Work:
Part-time hours. Weekend availability is a must.
 
Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Possess knowledge of beverage lists and all menu items being served.
  • Assist with inventory counts on a predetermined basis.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with room set-up and tear down, in addition to other cleaning responsibilities.
  • Ensure the proper handling and cleaning of all equipment, glassware, chinaware, and silverware.
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B management team.
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous food & beverage experience required.
  • Must have ProServe certification and be legally allowed to serve alcohol in Alberta.
  • Understand, demonstrate, and apply the Club’s Core Values and Cultural Standards (S.T.A.R.S.) with all Member/Employee interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills and works well under pressure.
  • Well groomed, co-operative, reliable, and team driven.
  • Available to work shifts – days, evenings, weekends and holidays, if required.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
