Job Summary:
Reporting to the Banquet Supervisor, the Bartender will prepare alcoholic drinks for members and guests of the Banquet area, but will be flexible to assist in other areas if required.

Hours of Work:

1-2 shifts per week (8-hours per shift).
Job Duties (include but are not limited to): 

  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.

  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.

  • Collect payment and operate cash register.

  • Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol, stop serving, and ensure a safe ride home is arranged.

  • Clean up after customers and clean work area.

  • Order and maintain inventory of liquor and bar supplies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B management team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous food & beverage experience required. 

  • Must have ProServe certification and be legally allowed to serve alcohol in Alberta.

  • Understand, demonstrate, and apply the Club’s Core Values and Cultural Standards (S.T.A.R.S.) with all Member/Employee interactions.

  • Excellent communication skills and works well under pressure.

  • Well groomed, co-operative, reliable, and team driven.

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
